Same general street price at Amazon, $999.Some things I got from the Honda Press Release:* Same 3 versions, normal, Camo, and Companion. * A little quieter in eco, a little louder at full load* Bigger motor - 120cc vs. 100cc* Lower rpm in full-eco* Slightly larger fuel tank, 0.95g, about the same overall run times* Slightly lighter* Fuel-only shut off (FINALLY) to allow carb bowl and lines to be dry.* Metal around the pull starter to prevent rope-burn into plastic* Better oil drain* 15amp continuous load, 18amp peak.

For the long hours some of those generators run - I think oil filter would be really appreciated.

At one point they were talking about utilizing EFI but I don't see anything about that now. Or did I miss it?

I bought the new Honda eu2200i from Maxtool last month for $899 shipped. I just got through breaking it in. It is the same exact size as its predecessor so most if not all accessories for the 2000 work for the 2200. I just ordered a LowPro Lockdown for it.

Storms are the best time to sell a generator.

I bought a big monster Champion noise maker at Costco last yer, on sale, and had a gift card I got when I bought a UTV.

Sold the generator during a snow storm in January and doubled my money, and still sold it for less than what it was going for at Costco at full price.

Didn't know about the 2.2k Honda. I'll see how my yami runs my new 9k ac. If any problems I got a buddy that's been eyeballin my yami for $600 for a couple of years now. Then i'll do the $400 upgrade to the 2.2k Honda. Love both brands. I have a Honda main and Yamaha kicker on my boat!

I've installed a Micro-Air on my AC 15K Coleman Mach 8 and it ran fine on the Honda 2K.

There a little pricy but IMHO well worth it. It also lessens the loud clunk you hear when the compressor turns on.

I've listed mine that I purchased new in 2003, asking $600 firm and had 6 people wanting to pick it up.

I've found new Honda online for as low as $999 with free shipping and no tax.

So $400 for the upgrade, I can live with that!
