I figure Outfitter installed this Magnum on the shore cord before the main distribution panel- breaker box ? and the pass thru of shore current has to go thru the inverter ?
Ripit could only turn off the charger not change the direction of the current to the air cond unit , which limits the load for diffrent types of service , 30amp , 40 amp . 50amp ..., thats what he adjusted
At one point in this thread I said to check the voltage at the ac breaker , that might have shown the problem here.
Ripit has a 07 Polar Cub , lucky dog .
That dosent change the fact that in 2010 the Polar Cubs running amp load increaced to 11.5 and 1450watts in desert conditions
My preferance for installing a inverter with a tranfer switch , or a inverter charger (converter) w/ transfer , is not to run things thru them that will never be run in an inverter mode ,like the AC. This requires another breaker box either before the inverter in Ripits case ,To supply ac to the air cond. or after the inverter to distribute to the circuts to be run by the inverter, like the plug circut , micro, refer ...
Everything is good now and we all learned somthing
