Anybody know an easy modification to make it possible to remove the ignition key while running this generator?

It should be easy if you can get to the back . Why would you want to take it out ? In the back just jump across the run connection , put it on a toggle .All the key is really for is to engage the starter and make the run connection . I have one mounted in my truck for seven years and have never taken the key out or turned it off . To shut mine off I shut off the fuel and walk away , it runs for a minute and then shuts down .
