Because I want to leave the generator running when I'm not around and I don't want to give someone a way to shut it down. I hadn't thought about just turning off the fuel. I guess I'd have to address that too. I may need to think a little more. Maybe a locking door to cover the whole control panel.
Leave it running when you are not around and don't want to give anyone a way to shut it down? I hope you are not trying to make friends camping. They can always unplug it to get back at you, or pour water in the gas tank to shut it down.
