I dunno. My neighbor's EU2000 was really bellowing when its mate ran out of gas and the A/C compressor kicked in.

I have had the extended tank mod (homemade) for several years. With two exceptions, I have only used it to keep the Honda fuel tank topped off. The way my Honda and boat fuel tank is setup, I run the Honda and boat fuel tank in place. The Honda pulls fuel from the boat tank, always leaving the Honda tank full.

I am going to replace my Boat fuel tank (3-gallon) with a 2-1/2-gallon NATO type fuel can. I have to make an adapter for the NATO can.

I don't think 805gregg was intending to be rude. He/she is just looking out for their fellow campers.
