You wont find many who "approve" of towing with any Honda. Mostly because they assume too much and have never tried. And there is A LOT of misinformation about Honda's towing.
I am hear to tell you that you can, and be proud to do so, but dont expect the same level of comfort you would from a larger truck.
I used a very basic E2 (very similar to Equalizer) with a 2012 Honda Pilot towing a 23ft TT that weighed 4300lbs fully loaded. More typical weight, was 4100lbs. Not one...single...issue.
If I were to do anything different, I would have bought a Hensley hitch with 1,000lb bars. With the shorter lighter SUV/Truck, and trying one with my current larger SUV, I strongly feel the price is justified over buy a bigger SUV/Truck for occasional/seasonal towing of a TT.
