This is the misinformation I spoke of. This is 100% WRONG.
#1 - Honda NEVER said not to use WDH. They recommended not using one due to improper set up, could lead to issues.
OLD statement:
#2 - They have since changed their wording to better clarify the use of a WDH.
NEW Statement:

On edit...thanks for calling me out as giving mis information and the CONFIRMING what I said...
I read the first one in an owners manual and was not aware of a revision... Pretty sure not recommended means not recommended. Kind of like service intervals...they are recommended...
So I feel good about my "recommendations" based on what the old manuals say. I guess that the OP will need to follow the statements in their owners manual.
