From a mechanics point of view: It's a well built unit that tows well if you stay within the recommended capabilities. It's not made to compete with a pickup, more like a SUV with an open bed like the Ford Sport Trac that still sells very well on the used market. Our friend tow a small Shamrock with an AWD Ridgeline and has no issues. They only thing they did was upgrade to LT tires.
