Wow, what a response. Thank you to everyone. I believe we are going out next week to look at the Jeeps and 1/2 ton pickups.
It was the wind thing that really had me worried. We had a really bad experience with our very 1st rv when we tried pulling to South Padre one year. We were pulling a full height travel trailer with a Dodge Dakota. Did okay pulling around Iowa but when we got out on the flats around Okalahoma City things went south real fast.
I believe if we stay with the pickups that haven't been lifted and she is comfortable getting in out of we will be just fine.
