I have an analog dash gauge for DEF that is very helpful. Absolutely agree, how can you manage a consumable without a gauge??
On the fill aspect, Ram uses a capless setup for the diesel fill, but a screw on cap for the DEF. Diesel is green, DEF is blue. So far I've not messed them up, although nothing is impossible. I've been a GM guy for many years but have been impressed with this Ram. My wife and I joke that we went from a Dodge car and a GM truck to a GM car and a Dodge truck...
