For those of you with diesels in your truck, have you found a good fill spout for the 2.5 gallon jugs of DEF? I have tried two of the ones furnished with the DEF and both leaked.
I tried tightening and made sure the rubber vent was seated.
Still dripped down the side of my truck.
I am new to diesel engines.
Any suggestions or tips?

most people fill wrong. Common but wrong way is to have the spout at the bottom of the jug then pour. Correct but uncommon way that will usually eliminate any leak and fill faster is with the spout at the TOP of the jug then fill.
Yes, it seems backwards, but that is the best way to pour from any jug.
Or think of it this way. spout on the"high" side of the jug/bottle, NOT on the "low" side. Oil, antifreeze, milk, doesn't make any difference, pour from the high side.
