Hope this the right place to ask?

Has anyone ever heard of anyone trying this?

Then putting a Pop Up like this on the above trailer not the truck:


I'm thinking it might work for me any thoughts?

Trailer is rated for 250 lbs the roof top pop up weights 125 lbs.

  • Appears that is a Kayak 'launch' trailer. Not really suitable for high-speed travel with any weight. Is it even road legal? No springs. No lights. No high speed tires. Don't forget that the weight of the camping unit is one thing. But all the stuff you carry with you really adds up.

    Don't try to cheap out. Buy the real thing. You'll be a lot happier in the long run. Imagine if your weight goes to the rear, you'll wheelie at a steep angle.
