BOUGHT 2003 F350 6.0 Ford diesel to pull 5th wheel. (12k) pounds. Heard and read Horror stories. Anybody got anything good to say?? Happy 4th

Man, some of you guys are SAD..
OP, if you already have it, it is an old truck with an expensive to repair engine. I have an 05 F350 6.0 with 230,000 miles on it. Great truck but I'm not hauling a house across the country with it. Go find a good Ford Truck shop that won't rip you off. A friend buys 6.0's because he gets them cheap. Then he throws a grand in it and drives the******out of it, sells it for a profit and does it again. If you remember it's not a gas engine and do what you are suppose to do, then it's a great truck. Remember it's a 12 year old truck.
My new truck only cost just under $50,000 but it's a gas engine. A lot of people can not afford to buy a new truck so they buy used. It all depends on how it was taken care of, no matter what the brand they all break.
Now for the haters on here. I would love to have you guys camped next to each other. Then the thread would read. " The stupid camper next to me called me stupid". With all the bashing on here it's amazing anyone comes here at all.
p.s. if OP did a search, they would of found all the 6.0 bashing
