Fordlover you do know there and also Ford's and Gm's with gaping caverns in their dash pads right? Fords with the doors and rear wheel house openings rusting out. Gm's with the (since the 70's to now) rear cab corners, doors and wheel house opening, along with rocks rusting out and compromising the trucks structure.
Again maintain your vehicle and wash it a least every other week in the winter and your vehicle can look as good a mine! Don't and your going to end up with a money pit!
I too must have gotten one of the very few good Rams, No cracked dash, blend door issues, no rusted out body panels or doors but then I take care of my truck.
God help the poor guy that buys this POS Ram, right Troy/Fordlover?
Don
Edited to change from Tory to Fordlover, my bad Tory.

Thanks Cummins12V98, think I have it sold, just waiting on the guy to come up with the cash/loan. The only thing cheap on my truck was the window 3M tinting. It was getting all wavy so Saturday I removed it from the two front windows and the back glass.

HAHAHA!!! You guys are too easy. The OP came on here and typed a few words about a 6.0 and then sat back and watched the same ole crew go at it for 3 pages. LOL!!!!!!

Fla-Gypsy, I don't think most are Ford haters, that are just those that feel a fair warning is due to a newbie that is looking to get a diesel. The Ford 6.0 is one reason many don't want to go to diesel, and many of those were repaired under warranty.
Now take a diesel newbie, and they like Fords to begin with and see a great deal on a Ford 6.0, and go out and buy because it is what they can afford.
Then after about two months, that have an EGR cooler go out, or worse blow a head gasket. Now the great deal on that Nice diesel 6.0, turns out to be a financial disaster.
I will be one to say, the 6.0 CAN be a great towing diesel, but it requires and investment up front on a used one.
Why do you think company's like Destroked, and Bullet Proof Diesel exist??
I was a Ford lover for 45 years, drove nothing but Fords and Mercury's, I made the choice to go with Cummins/Dodge for a diesel, based on Cummins reputation not Dodge. I will say, I have really enjoyed the combination, not only a great engine, but a very good body and interior.
Wishful thinking. The Ram is a lot of things, but a quality/durable interior is not one of them, especially your particular vintage. Google Dodge Ram Dash crack: clicky
The nice thing is that a gaping whole in the dashboard of a 6 year old truck won't leave you stranded on the side of the road, but looks terrible, though I supose it would make working on the blend doors really easy.
