2007 Tundra owner here with about 80K miles. No issues. No busted camshaft, no beat up tranny, tailgate....blah, blah blah. I have one of the first ones out too, so I will make sure I let the forum know when it grenades. Brother in law has 110K miles on his 2007...nothin.
BTW...what did Toyota do to "beef up" the frame? Was this from the 1st to 2nd gen Tundra? Maybe, because from 2007-2013 nothing with the frame has changed. Now the 2014 has small differences, so I would hope that along with revised spring rate softens the stiff ride.
