Host Cascade

It has been a while since I was a regular here. I am thinking of possibly buying a Host Cascade. I went and looked at a used 2018. It had been treated pretty rough. Possible frame damage and a lot of delamination going on. Is delamination a problem for other host owners. They want too much for their campers to have delamination going on in a relatively young camper. I have a 2004 snowriver 9-6 DS that is in better condition than the 2018 host I looked at. I like the Cascade floor plan. Any thoughts on host products please respond.

On another note, is Beddows still here with his Snowriver camper?
Thank you Barry
  • D&H RV is in NC and a Host dealer. They may have a line on used ones if you are not buying new. Also look at the slightly smaller Rainier and Tahoe models to see if those might work for you.
  • Get up with Mark at A and M in Kitrel NC.
I just picked up our 2021 AF990 and the prices new were 3/4 the price of comparable lance. Northern lite or host.
  • Thanks for your replies, it was sad to see that camper so abused. I see a 2019 for sale at lazy days, it is equipped with a washer dryer that I don't want or need. I will keep looking, maybe the right one will come along or I will just place an order for what I want.
Thanks again Barry in North Carolina
  • I own a 2018 host Cascade and don’t have any of those problems. This is our 3rd truck camper and by far the best. We are in the Deep South and the sun is fierce and high humity and it’s just like we bought it. We have done some mods to make it our own buy the intregity of the camper is excellent
  • I don’t think delamination for a 2018 is common for any brand. My Host is a 2006 that spend most of it’s life in a wet climate, and now in dry one. No delamination. Still, it’s possible to destroy anything.

I don’t think Beddows is here under that name any way.
