I met the GM of Host this last weekend. I was impressed with the camper and he represented them well. He mentioned that if they did not have a dealer in my area then they would work direct. He also said if I wanted to do a trade he would run the deal through a dealer. Seems like a good company.
Im sorry but i must disagree. If a manufacture is willing to deal direct good luck keeping dealers. Why should the manufacture be competition for a dealer?
Also a full basement triple slide out for a shortbed?? I can't imagine how that handles on a SRW short bed truck. Hosts look good on day one, but give them a year or two and see how they hold up.
I have no dog in this fight...but why do you say that? Host has been around a long time and are known to build a high end quality camper...
I am curious if you know otherwise.
