Host is not the most popular brand out there and has always been a smaller company. Unlike some of the other smaller companies that went under when the economy declined, they are holding on by downsizing more. I still like my camper after all of these years.
That being said, call the company for info. Unlike the bigger companies, you'll get to talk to a person. If you want a common brand, I think the only choice is Lance.
When I bought my camper in '06, I had the option of looking at all of these in person in my area of the Northwest: Bigfoot, Arctic Fox, Lance, Eagle Cap, Snow River, Adventurer, Northern Lite, Host, S&S, Northstar, Alumnalite, Okanogan, and a few more.
Many of those no longer exist. As other have said, Truck Camper Magazine is similar to other magazines that focus on making money. Not a bad thing (I understand they need money), but not exactly comprehensive on what's available or possible.
