I know a farmer who had the fuel pump failure. Ford denied the claim initially. However, he has a Pacific Pride membership, and every single tank since new was purchased on his card and mileage was tracked along with that. Pacific Pride (at least the franchise owner here - Carslon Oil) tests EVERY single tank post-delivery. The fuel logs with sample results were sent to Ford. His truck was fixed.
If you buy one.... buy new, and track all your fuel stops, and make sure they have a testing program in place.
