The way I might look at it is kind of like this: I have a 1 in 50,000 chance of dying today if I stay home in bed where it is safe. If I go out and do something I enjoy today my chances of dying greatly increase to 1 in 20,000. I would rather have some fun in life so I will go do what I enjoy. So it is with purchasing a pick up. All three manufacturers make an incredible truck. Why worry about trying to calculate the very slim odds of something going wrong. Buy what you like and enjoy it.
