I wired into the 12V in the refrigerator access area, and also mounted the controller in there. When in use, the pigtail for the wire pokes out enough to hook up a 12' extension wire (available on ebay for $6). the pigtail for the remote also pokes out of there as well. when I am done, I unplug, and just tuck the wires back in, and away we go. That way, I didnt have to drill any holes.
I should also mention, that I mounted my LED's on the roller-tube, not on the trailer itself.
