Amer Gas will recertify my verticle 30# tanks for $10 each plus parts if the valve has to be replaced. My tanks have gauges.

This will save several hundred dollars
The next trip out we will be using them in their regular storage compartment.... I will continue to "play" with the idea of moving them.
The existing gauges may not be that accurate but after 12 years they give me a good indication of how much is left. (educated guess anyway)
