Really?
Telling someone to look at a website or go to the dealer isn’t what it is cracked up to be, especially in this case where it appears there is no recall BUT there was a push to get a class action suit.
You can search the NTSB website for days and never find any conclusive results since there is so many recalls..

The O.P. specifically asked how he could find out if there is a recall on the hitch on his vehicle. I answered his question as accurately as possible given the information he put in his post.
Did you bother to even look at the NTSB link I posted for the O.P.'s benefit? Here it is again
It requires that one know/enter the details of the vehicle itself, which only the O.P. is in a position to know. Doing so will bring up ANY/ALL recalls related to that particular vehicle- certainly useful information for any owner. It won't take "days" to look through such a list since very few vehicles have pages and pages of recalls attached to them.
I think my answer to be more to the point than your own, and a lot more civil.
