Problem with today's world is every thing has to be new whether you can afford it or not. We started life with every thing used.
Too many good used anything out there including cars and trucks. I've only purchased two new vehicles in my 77 years and paid cash for them both. I get the bare minimum to get where I want to go and still be safe.
Today's used vehicles with the bare minimum are still better equipped than anything from even 10 years ago. I just bought a new Subaru legacy with the bare minimum and I'm still trying to figure this car out. I also just purchased a used pickup that has more bells and whistles than the new 05 Chevy I purchased new.
The point? Do we really need all that stuff on a truck to pull our RV's? For me, no and I smile:) all the way to the bank.
