How do you determine how much to spend on a truck?

Lots of good info and opinions.... some others also. Just a couple thoughts:

Stepping foot on a dealer lot every year or two is the sure way to do it wrong no matter what you do.

Buying new is not nearly as bad of an option as many make it out to be. Especially with the ridiculous used prices the last few years. Buying new is fine as long as you buy at the right price and hold onto the vehicle for a long time.
