This is funny, not the way it works in our home, but probably some very good advice. It reminds me of when one of my daughters was getting married. She absolutely had her heart set on an outside wedding. Her fiancee and I were making some final preparations to get ready for the big day, which was scheduled for the very next day, when I looked at the weather forecast and saw it had changed. They were forecasting a !00% chance of rain. I told my soon to be son in law of the forecast and then said to him, "well you are going to be the man of the house .... the decision is your's. Should we get on the phone and start calling people to move the party to the church (our back up plan) or take a chance that the forecast is wrong and carry on with the plan as is? ... The decision is yours. What do you want to do?" He said, "I think I want to phone your daughter."
