- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIRude/ignorant behavior......plain and simple
Just like an errant dog.....I spray them down with my hose.
Strike up a conversation with me, ask if it would be OK.
But to just assume.....that's treating me like I don't exist and shows no respect.
Everybody is out camping to have fun.........but that doesn't mean common courtesy should be ignored. - ls1mikeExplorer II

I go camping to chill out and relax, not get worked up about minor stuff like someone walking through "my" campsite. I usually give them a "how's it goin'?"
Yup...time on earth is short, why get worked up over small stuff
This, plus I may start offering a beer. We are all out there doing the same thing. It should be a good time. You walk through...Eh, I just get another drink.
I don't do it, but that is me. Having spent lots of time on Submarines personal space is not a big thing to me. As long as you are not 6 inches from me...I am over it...quick. - Winnebago_BobExplorer

How do you feel about people walking through your campsite?
I find it annoying and rude.
What can you do about it? Basically nothing! If you say anything to them, you'll end up in pi@@ing contest and probably loose.
But ... if you have a dog that barks at everything that moves ... that may discourage them from coming through again ... especially if the dog is on a 10 foot leash.
Fewer things more annoying while camping than a dog that barks at everything. - myredracerExplorer IIVery rude.
Last time we were camping, a family with 2 trailers next to us plus another down the way had their chairs set up part way onto our site for a family gathering, really close to us. They were all hooting and hollering until around 10 pm as if they were the only ones in the entire CG. Invading someone else's space and being noisy like that makes no sense... - texasclarksExplorerHonestly, unless they are being rude I just say hello. Some people may be rud and scowl...I think life is too short to worry about such trivial things. I do ask children to not ride bikes or play in my site. I guess having kids and enjoying the sound of kids enjoying the outdoors isn't that big of a deal for me.
- rbpruExplorer III rarely walk though another’s camp, unless I am really turned around or lost.
I do however walk though empty sites if they provide a short cut.
If someone passes through mine, I usually strike up a conversation. - LenSaticExplorer

Sounds entertaining :B
Where we camp most people know each other so it's not as big of a deal. If they stay along the "property line" I can be forgiving. If they walk between my fire/chairs and the camper, I get upset. - samhain7Explorer
