How far do you travel per day?

I like to get on the road around 9am or so. That usually misses rush hour thru most bigger cities if I am traversing thru one. Otherwise it all depends on how pressed for time we are. For a good day I have done 300 to 400 miles, or 7-8 hours. We like to be off the road by 4 pm, that way there is usually space at a park and light enough to see backing in and have time for a nice dinner and relaxing afterward. We are retired so time isn't in short supply for us. A family that only has weekends to camp may be a little more pressed for time. I like to take secondary roads when possible too. I hate to be in a rush when we travel.
