How fast do you travel loaded?

I see about 2 to 3 mpg difference from 60 to 70.

The speed at which I travel when towing my RV is of little significance IMHO:) What I am more concerned about is how quick I can brake my RV to a safe STOP!!!

60-62mph I get 16-17mpg with my 2001 Dodge 2500 diesel...........any faster doesn't make sense to me.

Like others said, I'm not in a hurry and I just assume keep my family alive.

hell of a ride and $3500 worth of body damage. I switched to 19.5 wheels and tires rated at 4500 pounds each soon after

I have done 78 but it didn't feel very comfortable. 65 is pretty good in wyoming. Interstates in the west are easier than the east in my opinion. My Northern Lite is a little rear heavy which makes my truck handle worse than normal. I'm working on some front end issues that the previous owner of the truck created when he lifted the truck. Just mentioning that for others who may have lifted trucks.

After reading this, I am on the faster side. What I pay attention to is the feel and engine sound. Dodge 2500 CTD... N*TC800. Maybe 12k lb total. The diesel hits this sweet spot 1900 rpm. Speed is 69 - 70 and the ride is smooth.
