It sounds like you don't have enough room unless you can back up your drive ,which if it is fairly straight you can do.
If your GC is 16 or 17 feet long the trailer will still be in the driveway when the GC has used up the space in half of the tee.. If you could drive into the garage to get the trailer up into the tee you can unhook and maneuver the trailer back into its parking spot.
They have trailer dollys that would help with that.
If it is flat ground and a single axle you can easily unhook and pull the trailer forward and push it back into your spot.
I have been there and done that a lot without the benefit of the dolly.
