Towed with an '07 Tundra crewmax limited for several years. First a 26' bunkhouse at 5500lbs and then my current trailer at 7600lbs. Pulled both with ease (and better than my current Ram 2500 does) but the bigger tt did put us a few hundred pounds over payload. My Tundra had a 3-1 lift, 33" AT tires and airbags ( for comfort, not necessity).
It's a great truck, just a little low on payload in crewmax form. It'll do well with any tt under 7500lbs loaded if you don't need to fill the bed too. Very reliable, overbuilt but under rated and great resale value down the road.
