I have a 2011 5.7 liter 6-speed long bed (8ft) full size cab (not the "max", but not the suicide doors) and pull a 6000 27ft travel trailer. No problems. Gas mileage is crappy compared to the 2001 4.7 liter I had previously, but it definitely tows nicer. It's quieter and more comfortable on the road than my wife's car.
