2010 Crewmax 4wd with a 2 in lift. Added rear toyota swaybar, Hellwig 2500 ld helper springs, and LT 10 ply tires. Bought it used with 42k miles and currently have 80k miles on it. I have had absolutely no maintenance problems. Only time in shop for unscheduled maintenance was a recall. Just replaced the brakes at 78k miles.
Tow a 25' TT weighing 6000-7000 lbs. 2014 Eclipse Evolution T225. Average between 9 to 10 mpg. Best was almost 14 mpg (downhill from Flagstaff to Phoenix) worst was 6.5 mpg (35-45 mph headwinds in Kansas and Oklahoma). Worst crosswinds I've seen was 45-50 mph between Tucson and Phoenix. I was a white knuckle driver at 35-40 mph, but it handled it.
Pulled it up a long grade heading to San Diego west of the Imperial Valley at 115 degrees outside temperature. It performed well with no high heat issues.
Gas mileage is not the best. 15 mpg 50/50 highway/city. 18 mpg highway. Some 2wd's get over 20. People who own Tundras seem to love it, but other truck owners who never owned one seem to hate it. You will see that on this forum as well as other forums. I would buy another Tundra again.
