Just replaced my awning fabric today. During the install, I hate to say, I lost track of the no. of turns on the springs. The awning is a 15 foot A&E Dometic. I have completely no idea if it was 8 ...

WE did my BIL's 18' A&E... I believe it was 12 turns.... If it too tight , or too loose , all you have to do is disconnect the arms and adjust... IF the springs are older , and wound too tight, they can break...
