My FW has a insulated belly, but uses a bubble wrap type, with foil heat reflect. I don't think water would damage it, but I would not leave water in there.
If you like the trailer, I would not be in a hurry to dump it, but would fix the problem asap.

Mine gets water in there after driving in a heavy rain, a few cups drained out when I tilted the trailer to adjust the brakes.
It was suggested to drill a few 1/4" holes through the plastic underlayer and bubble wrap at all low points so that it drains. Just make sure you don't drill through any tanks. Haven't done that yet but it's on my list.
