How much does the length of a TT affect driving?

I have a TT that actually measures 36 feet tip to tail, so hooked up we are 57 feet long. On the highway I don't see much difference from the last TT which was 30 feet long. However, we are unable to access sites in smaller camp grounds and because I am pulling with a V10 gasser, gas stops can be a challenge. I like the trailer but sometimes bigger is not better.
