How much headroom for over-cab beds?
I am thinking about a TC someday -- not very soon -- but I like to sit upright in bed to read, and I need a lot of headroom. How much clearance is there? Does it vary a lot from one unit to another?...

Notice still no actual measurements, just "I can sit up" or "I hit my head."
Chalk me up on the "I hit my head" side, but I knew that going in because I tested it out when I looked at the camper.
That's what you should do, too: Test before you buy. Either you will or you won't and it will either be okay with you or it won't. I personally was okay with it because the camper was cheap and would be used almost exclusively for sleeping.
