How much headroom for over-cab beds?
I am thinking about a TC someday -- not very soon -- but I like to sit upright in bed to read, and I need a lot of headroom. How much clearance is there? Does it vary a lot from one unit to another?...

When we 1st got ours, couldnt sit up. I removed the under bed storage platform which dropped the mattress. But the leaning nose wall as sue.t mentioned -was and still is an issue. We used the 'numerous' pillows, still needed to pay attention when leaning back because at the top of the sloped front wall is a shelf that runs between corners cabinets. It is hard.
Last year I added some straps (headboard thread)that gave us a bit more vertical support requiring less pillows.
