How much HP & torque do I need ?

For a 4000 lb TT, 19' , driving from Ontario to California, over the Rockies, in high temperatures ? Bumper weight of 500lbs ? Against high wind in "Tornado Alley" of Oklahoma.

I don't believe the manufacturer's claims !

    Performance is so subjective; some are happy to motor all day at 55mph & 35-40mph in big hills while others will clench their teeth is they slow from 75 to 74 on a climb. Most of us fall in the middle.

    Even in challenging conditions, I'd think any modern V8-equipped SUV or truck would make 95% of us happy with ~5000lb behind it.
