With around 400,000 new RVs currently being sold every year, what is that going to do to RV park/CG prices? I doubt many new CGs are being built each year to keep up with the ever increasing demand and the law of supply & demand pricing will dictate prices. It has to cost a lot more to build a CG today compared to decades ago with the cost of land, environmental regulations and other more stringent codes & regulations. I can think of only one brand new RV park/CG we have stayed at and it was a casino that already had the land and plenty of cash. I wonder how the private & public sectors compare to the creation of new RV sites.
Maybe in the not to distant future $100/night won't seem so bad.
