I think my 11.5 foot bigfoot is pretty close to 8-feet. I should add, at the end of the truck bed, the TC steps down about 12-inches for the gray water holding tank and related.
I think it would make a difference between 2WD and 4WD when considering breakover angle. The kinds of roads you take it on is another consideration. My truck is 2WD, I do not go off road. I think I had a problem with breakover angle one time in the past ten years.
