Spark plugs fire on the compression stroke, several degrees BTDC, just before the power stroke begins at TDC.

Pistons are connected to connecting rods, not the crankshaft.

Got 29 out of 30. Dumbly misread the number of valves/cylinder and was thinking it said cylinders, so of course I had selected 6-8. WRONG! DUH... Pay attention dummy, slap slap!
