You could give it a try with a heavy duty half ton Ford if you plan to stay away from any prolonged high mountain RVing. Easy call for me as our rig is similar in size and weight, no way would I want anything less than a 3/4 ton as we live and do most of our RVing at high elevations. Our 3/4 ton gasser is wholly dedicated to towing our rig around and sits in the garage otherwise making poor mpg or harsh ride moot points. Good luck, here's hoping whatever TV you decide on delivers on all your expectations.
