I am looking at campers and thinking of a 9.5 foot. They weigh about 2500 lbs and I have a 2500 dodge. I was looking on another site and there were people with 11 foot lance campers that weigh 3300 lb...

You might be comfortable with exceeding the vehicle's limit by 10% but if you are weighed or involved in an accident the police and insurance company may not agree with you. Here rv'ers are not required to stop at the scales but the RCMP can and do conduct random roadside checks. We prefer not to push the limits.
