I am willing to bet of all the people who have truck campers 80 % are over weight by at least 500 lbs
You say you have a camper that is 9.5 2500 Lbs First of all that most likely that is not even close to what camper weight is manufacturers are famous for cheating on this.
Few manufacturers tell you the true weight with all the options in camper.
I believe Adventure / Eagle cap / Lance.
You take Arctic Fox TC a very well made and excellent camper the sticker weights in camper are out by at least 500 lbs in most cases.
Take my adventure 980RDS on web sites Dry weight is reported in as 2,863 Lbs to 3100lbs depending on where you look.
On cabinet door in my camper weight with options it is 3400 lbs Full load with water ready to go camping it came in at 4450 lbs ( CHECKED on scales)
I can not travel with full water in my tanks this will remove around 475 lbs of weight and get me into my CVWR on my F350 camper package is 4200 with mods I would say I can carry 4400 safely.
But one always need some water so I will add back in about ½ tank of water and this will get me over CVWR once again but a small amount that I can live with.
I don't think there is a solid sides 9-5 NOT a pop up that will come in under 2900lbs now the real surprise will come when propane tanks and water tanks are full and you add all the stuff to go camping. You your wife dogs cats or what have you.
You can safely add 1000 Lbs to so call dry weight.
Now your camper is approaching 4000 lbs that is 3500 range one ton not ¾ ton.
