How much weight is too much weight?
I am looking at campers and thinking of a 9.5 foot. They weigh about 2500 lbs and I have a 2500 dodge. I was looking on another site and there were people with 11 foot lance campers that weigh 3300 lb...

- how much over gvwr is still safe depends on a lot of things like, how fast you drive, your driving skills in a heavily loaded top heavy high profile vehicle, how well you maintain your truck (and tires in particular), what you are towing while hauling the camper, etc
