How often do yall sanitize your fresh water tank?

I don't normally drink water from the RV fresh water tank and I got to wondering if others do. Do yall drink water that comes through your RV and if so, how often should the system be sanitized with b...

A broad generalization that will not be universally true.

Under some circumstances there can be important reasons not to.
Untreated water stored in a hot environment can go "bad" fairly quickly.
