I have a 2012 F-350 6.7 Power Stroke SRW pickup. It has been on multiple outings this past year and I was wondering about changing out the Differential Fluids. It currently has 74,000 miles and has seen a significant number of Offroad miles. What is your regimen? Thanks!

Every 100,000 and the second change might be next year.

I have major maintenance performed every 50,000 miles, which includes synthetic differential fluid change.

I change it every two years because it sees about 15K in towing in that amount of time. Amsoil is what I use and it is cheap insurance. I have had them go out only once when I found out I should have been servicing them. Never again, and it will increase your MPG as well.

in your search engine and you can download it. But the it's in the main manual.

Go online at your truck manufacturer. You should be able to down load any manual you need.

I have the manual for my F150 in the glove box, however I downloaded a copy and it resides on my computer.

This way, I can look up stuff should I have a question and I'm in the house.

I do it when I have the tranny fluid changed which is annually(30,000 miles) half of which is towing mileage.

Never. Unless an axle breaks. Our Peterbilt has about 1,000,000 miles on it. I broke three original axles last year so the oil was changed in both differentials for the first time....should be good for another 10 years.
