I change fuel filters every 15K miles, second oil change, but I am very careful where I buy fuel.
my local station, I have reviewed their tank check schedule and it appears to be up to std. The local ambulance system buys fuel from this station and has had no fuel related problems.
on the road, I buy only from major fuel station, where the 18 wheelers buy, because just one batch of bad fuel and those truckers get bad fuel, your station would be on their list in about one day, as having a reputation for bad fuel, you would be out of business.
also I use only Baldwin fuel and oil filters
