We too dread the packing part . . . if we do it all in one shot! So what works best for us is to pack over the course of a couple of weeks. We keep most everything in the RV with the exception of some clothing, dog food, and our food. I wait for the last couple of days to pack the food so that signals to us that we are about on our way! Yippeeee!
